Simple Ways to Save More at Change Please
Change Please sells specialty coffee for UK customers, including named coffees such as Muyumbu Rwanda – Farms to Futures, Welcome Guest, Adventurous Blend, Tall, Dark & Handsome, Happy Go Lucky and Steady Fuel Decaf. Its range also includes subscriptions, a reusable coffee cup, e-gift cards, clothing, tote bags and donation greeting cards, so there are options for everyday brewing, gifts and coffee-led treats.
This guide brings together practical ways to keep the cost of a Change Please order under control without relying on unverified claims. It covers the official free-delivery threshold, subscription controls, product choices and a sensible way to check whether a voucher listed through Codes.co.uk could apply to your basket.
Use the £20 free UK delivery threshold
Change Please offers free UK shipping on orders over £20. Orders below that threshold have delivery costs calculated at checkout, so adding a suitable extra item can sometimes be more economical than paying delivery separately.
Adventurous Blend – Whole Beans 1kg is listed at £32, which already clears the threshold on its own. If you prefer a smaller purchase, combining a coffee such as Welcome Guest or Happy Go Lucky with the £15 Change Please Reusable Coffee Cup may also take the basket over £20 while giving you something useful alongside your beans.
Choose a coffee that matches your brewing routine
One straightforward way to avoid waste is to select a coffee that suits the way you actually drink it. The subscription range allows shoppers to choose between whole bean and ground coffee, while the product pages include distinct styles such as rich Tall, Dark & Handsome, bright Happy Go Lucky and caffeine-free Steady Fuel Decaf.
For households that use coffee regularly, the 1kg Adventurous Blend can be a practical format to consider because it is designed as a larger whole-bean option. If you enjoy trying different origins instead, Welcome Guest offers a changing guest coffee approach, while Muyumbu Rwanda provides a single-origin choice within the Farms to Futures range.
How to make a Change Please subscription work harder
Change Please subscriptions are designed to be flexible rather than fixed. According to the official guidance, customers can change delivery frequency, reschedule or skip a renewal, ship early, update payment or address details, or pause and cancel through the subscription account area.
That flexibility can help prevent paying for coffee when you are away, overstocked or using a different machine. The Welcome Guest One Year Subscription is also available as a prepaid option, giving coffee drinkers a year of changing guest coffees without monthly renewals.
Build a useful gift instead of adding extras
Change Please has several products that can make a basket feel more purposeful. The £10-and-up e-gift card can suit someone who wants to choose their own roast or grind, while the Change Please Reusable Coffee Cup pairs naturally with coffee for a more complete present.
For a coffee-themed gift with a social-impact angle, the Everyone Deserves a Shot Black Tote Bag and the branded clothing collections offer alternatives to another bag of beans. Donation greeting cards, including options supporting compressed towels or toothbrushes, can also be considered when the aim is to give something meaningful rather than simply increase the order value.
Check the roast-to-order details before paying
Change Please states that its coffee is roasted to order and aims to dispatch orders within three to four working days. A Royal Mail tracking link is sent after dispatch, so this is worth allowing for when ordering a gift or planning around a particular date.
Because the coffee is freshly roasted to order, the official FAQ says amendments or exchanges cannot be made once an order has been placed. Double-check the product, grind size and delivery details before completing payment, particularly when buying ground coffee for a specific brewing method.
Can a voucher be combined with an on-site saving?
If a current offer is shown on the Change Please website and a valid code is separately listed on the Change Please vouchers page, you can test the code at checkout after confirming the basket still meets the free UK delivery threshold. This is a conditional check only: Change Please does not guarantee that an external code will be available, accepted or combinable with another saving.
Do not assume that a code applies to subscriptions, gift cards, clothing or donation products unless its stated terms say so. If a code is rejected, compare the final total without it and keep the order structure that gives you the better result, such as free shipping over £20 or a subscription schedule you can genuinely use.
Change Please coffee order checklist
- Pick the right format: confirm whether you need whole beans or ground coffee before adding Welcome Guest, Happy Go Lucky or Tall, Dark & Handsome.
- Consider your quantity: compare a regular bag with Adventurous Blend – Whole Beans 1kg if you drink coffee frequently.
- Check delivery: aim for a basket above £20 to qualify for free UK shipping.
- Allow for roasting: remember that orders are roasted to order and dispatch is aimed at three to four working days.
- Review the basket: check grind, quantity, delivery address and any subscription settings before payment.
- Test conditionally: if a Change Please voucher code is listed, read its terms and see whether checkout accepts it.
Key Takeaways
- Use the £20 free UK shipping threshold when it genuinely suits your order.
- Choose between named coffees such as Muyumbu Rwanda, Happy Go Lucky, Steady Fuel Decaf and Adventurous Blend according to your taste and routine.
- Use subscription controls to pause, skip or change deliveries when your needs change.
- Consider the reusable cup, e-gift card, tote bags or donation cards for useful gifts.
- Check the Codes.co.uk page before paying, but only count a voucher saving if the code is accepted and its terms fit your basket.
With a little planning, you can make a Change Please order work harder by choosing the right format, reaching the delivery threshold where appropriate and avoiding coffee you will not use. Check the vouchers page before checkout, then compare the final total and place the order that gives you the best practical value.
